If you own land on the edge of a town or village in the South West of England First Step Homes may be able to significantly increase the value of your land and benefit the local community at the same time. Typical land values, after receipt of Planning Consent, would be in the region of £120,000 per acre subject to a minimum density of 12 units per acre.

Rural Exceptions Sites

We specialise in the development of unallocated land (usually pasture or agricultural land) for affordable housing-led Residential Development as Departure/ Exception Sites and out team of Architects and Planning Consultants have an enviable success rate in achieving planning consents.

However, planning permission can be granted on these sites as long as there is an identified affordable housing need, that the housing provided is sold or rented at affordable prices and that the affordability of the completed homes is protected in perpetuity.
